Where have you been?!

Yes, it has been almost a year since I have even thought about this blog and so much has happened in that year! In March 2011, I had surgery on my foot and just a few weeks later we found out we were expecting our third child. I must admit I was overwhelmed at first, but that quickly turned to excitement! The pregnancy went well and we were overjoyed to learn we would be adding another boy to our family. Jacob and Caleb turned one in August and everything was still going great with my pregnancy. Just a few days before my scheduled C-Section, my blood pressure went up and Ethan Samuel arrived. He was born on November 18th, which happens to be Jonathan's mother's birthday also. He was 7 pounds 10 ounces and 21 inches long.  Ethan was born with a complete bilateral cleft lip and palate. We were not aware that he would have this before he was born. He is a perfect baby, but we know this sweet little angel has a tough road in front of him. Hopefully I will do a better job keeping up with this blog in the future!
